Even though their fates in life look lousy to outsiders, two Orland Park residents have no complaints.

Steve DeBiasio, 61, lost his left arm in 1992 in a train accident on the job as a switchman.

Twenty years later, Bruce Miller, now 70, lost his right leg after vascular surgery,

“They said I quit smoking too late,” Miller said. “Twenty years too late.”
