After losses to Argo, Lockport and Homewood-Flossmoor, Sandburg was looking for a huge shot in the arm against Schaumburg on Saturday, Jan. 18. Sophomore Erin O’Connor was there to provide that shot as five of her shots went into the hoop to give the Eagles a 10-1 lead and they went on to win 60-50 in a nonconference home game facing Saxons coach Jacqueline Storm, a former Sandburg girls basketball standout.
