After at 21-7 home non-conference loss to Bradley-Bourbonnais on Friday, Oct. 25, Sandburg finished its season at 2-7 in a year challenged greatly by a tough schedule and injury woes.

“I’m sure a lot of people looked at our record after Week 3 and said, ‘Hey you’re already eliminated from the playoffs. You’ve got two losses and you play the Big 3 (Homewood-Flossmoor, Bolingbrook and Lincoln-Way East,” Eagles coach Scott Peters said. “We have had 12 starters from Week 1 out.”
