Looking to avoid its third consecutive and sixth total loss on the season, Sandburg made some early stops on defense that left even the coach of the No. 1-ranked Class 8A team in the state giving the Eagles some credit. “Give a lot of credit to Sandburg early in the game for stopping us for field goals,” Lincoln-Way East Coach Rob Zvonar said.
