Sandburg High School graduate Cameron Crowe impressed the guy at the counter.

And Crowe has been impressing many others as well.

Crowe, one of the best bowlers to come out of Sandburg, rolled a 300-279-279 to win the Illinois State Bowling Proprietors Association Grand Prix June 22 at Arlington Lanes and pocketed $1,150 worth of scholarship money. His 858 series was 101 pins better than the next competitor.

He also may have set a house record at the Arlington Heights center.
