OK, let’s try this again…

The controversial proposal to eliminate conferences and implement districts in football starting in 2021 has been passed, but there is a new proposal on the horizon that, while not perfect, will change the landscape of playoff football that should be easier for most teams to swallow. And it may wipe out the district proposal.

By-Law 5.074 will be amended to expand the eight-class playoff system from 32 teams to 48.
