The best team this spring to not pick up any postseason hardware was the District 230 co-op boys lacrosse team.

This is the second year the Illinois High School Association sanctioned lacrosse, and there are not yet enough teams to be able to break the sectionals down into regionals.

So, the team, hosted by Andrew and featuring athletes from Sandburg and Stagg, won a pair of postseason games, which in most sports would get you a nice regional plaque.
