It was a nice night for a track meet.

A little cool. A little windy. But overall, the Pete Struck Eagle Classic at Sandburg was held under decent weather, just hours before the messy, snowy, rainy garbage we saw after the meet was complete.

Anyway, Orland Park’s Ray Balcarcel decided to make a short trip to Sandburg to catch some of the action.

He said he heard Marist’s boys track team was doing pretty well this year, and he wanted to see the team up close and personal.

Why not?
