If this is how things are going to go for former Sandburg runner Brian O’Donnell this year, this could be a huge spring coming up.

The 41-year-old was the winner of the coldest Running o’ the Green 8K race in its 10-year history when he crossed the finish line in 33 minutes, 11.8 seconds on March 3. The Tinley Park resident said he had run in more than 10 races sponsored by the Tinley Park-Park District (including the Stars and Stripes and Turkey Trot events) and this is his first overall title.
