Former Sandburg runner Brian O’Donnell took off immediately after being handed the baton in Running Excels’ inaugural Attack the Track Marathon Relay at Chicago Christian High School June 1.

Feeling the wind on his face and donning bright blue sunglasses, O’Donnell was in cruise control, clinching Tinley Park Track and Trail’s win in the 26.2-mile relay.
