After two weeks of non-conference action and a week of crossover games, the Southwest Suburban Conference season opened play on Friday, Sept. 20. And for the first time since the 2015 season, logic prevailed as the conference is back to two divisions — a Blue and a Red.
In 2015, there were 16 teams broken up into two divisions of eight. That made sense.
