Bernard “Sonny” Morgan was a soft-spoken man who led by example. His actions, family and friends said, did the talking for him. It is safe to say those actions said a lot. Morgan, a former deputy chief with the Orland Fire Protection District, died Aug. 20 at the age of 80.
