As a child, Kari McClowry dreamed to one day be crowned the queen of Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade like her aunt and her grandmother before her. Her father, Brian, often encouraged Kari and her five sisters to follow in his mother’s footsteps, as his sister had done.
