Ken Keeler can still remember the exact time and date, as well as the order. It was 5:01 p.m. Nov. 23, 1988. The first order was a large pizza with sausage, onion, green pepper and mushrooms, delivered to a man next door to his business, which Keeler opened that day and called Kenootz Pizza.
