It was not the best of weeks for the Sandburg baseball team.

The Eagles opened the season on a hot streak, as they had wins in nine of their first 10 games. But, against a trio of very good opponents, they went 0-4 last week, including being shut out three times.

Sandburg’s most recent loss was a 2-0 setback Friday, April 17 in a non-conference matchup against Marist in Chicago.

The Eagles (9-5) could only muster two hits in the game.
