Sometimes, the key to success is not to over-analyze things.

That was the case for Sandburg senior Caitlin Conners last week.

While the Eagles badminton team lost to Lockport Township 13-2 in a SouthWest Suburban Conference Blue Division matchup April 7, at Lockport, Conners was able to pull out a victory.

The key?

“I just stopped thinking,” she said.

In doing so, Conners came back for a 21-19, 16-21, 21-7 win over Christine Maida in another all-senior matchup at No. 7 singles.
