The Sandburg boys water polo team has always had success, but this season’s squad has based its success on playing good defense.

Although the Eagles gave up 10 goals in their 13-10 SouthWest Suburban Conference Blue win over Lincoln-Way East April 6 in Frankfort, half of those came at the end, when the lead was pretty safe.

Seniors Mike Hinde, Majd Ibrahim and Mitch Zieler led Sandburg with three goals each.
