A common question we get is, “How can you send a free weekly newspaper like this?”
The easy answer is, “Your support.”
Thirteen years later, the answer has held true. The support from the community (readers and advertisers) is strong, and because of that we are able to continue to deliver unmatched, award-winning weekly coverage of Orland Park at no cost to our loyal readers.
The only “price” we ask you to pay as readers is to take the time and effort every three years to complete a brief form acknowledging that you want to continue receiving your free newspaper.
That form, which we gather from roughly 60 percent of Orland Park residents, allows us to achieve a better, more cost-effective class of mail. It is essential for our free distribution.
We cannot thank you enough for the support up to this point. It is time again for our loyal readers to send in their request forms.
Each week, a form will be published in the newspaper (Page 8 this week). You can mail or fax the form back. Mail to: Attn: Circulation, 11516 W. 183rd St., Unit SW#3 Orland Park, IL, 60467. Fax: (708) 326-9179.
The quickest and easiest way to request the paper, however, is to go to OPPrairie.com/delivery and fill it out in seconds.
As always, all your information will be kept completely confidential.
The U.S. Postal Service is tough to please and requires that we prove our mailing list every three years. We have been able to do this for more than a decade because our loyal readers have taken the time to return these request forms. The postal service will audit The Prairie to ensure that our readers have returned these important forms.
It only takes a minute of your time, and we thank the hundreds who have already sent in their forms so they can continue to receive comprehensive coverage of Orland Park for free in The Prairie.
So, please, join your family, friends and neighbors in sending in your form to request The Prairie!
