Bobby Rush had no trouble hanging on to his seat as Representative in the 1st Congressional District.

Rush (D-Chicago) was re-elected to a 12th term Tuesday, Nov. 4, with unofficial results from the clerks’ offices in Chicago and Will and suburban Cook counties showing he garnered 152,118 votes (72.73 percent), while challenger Jimmy Lee Tillman (R-Chicago) received 57,038 (27.27 percent).
