Sandburg girls water polo coach Jim Caliendo may have coached the final game of his illustrious career Saturday, May 12, in a 9-7 loss to Lincoln-Way East in the sectional final.

It was a sad day for Sandburg. Both the Eagles boys and girls water polo teams entered the sectional as the top seeds. But both fell short to the host Griffins in a pair of tough, defensive games on Saturday, May 12, in the title matches of the Lincoln-Way East Sectional in Frankfort.
