Orland Park resident Alaina Rea is taking center stage — the result of years of hard work and thousands of hours of music practice.

A graduate of Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School in Oak Lawn, Rea was recently accepted into The Juilliard School, New York’s prestigious performing arts conservatory.

Rea plays and is to continue to study the viola at Juilliard, as a member of the Class of 2018.
